Calling all the foodies!

The immediate areas, which border the Indiana State Fairgrounds, lack dining options unless you choose fast food.  If you are seeking some good eats while you are in town, head downtown Indianapolis, which is about a 10-15 minute drive with traffic. The options are unlimited in the “downtown area.”

Check out some of my personal favorites for first-rate food and service:

Le Peep – Breakfast & Brunch $
Best place for over-the-top breakfast & brunch!

RAM Resturant & Brewery – Private, independent,  & family owned $$
Handcrafted beer and fresh pizza.

Slippery Noodle Inn – Indiana’s Oldest Bar  $$
Great food, live entertainment, and reasonably priced.

Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery $$
Good place for burgers and handcrafted beer made on site.

P.F. Chang's - Chinese Restaurant $$
High quality, tasty Asian food – great service.

Weber Grill Downtown $$
Steak, burger and BBQ.

Buca di Beppo – Italian $$$
Authentic Italian menu for all to enjoy.

The Old Spaghetti Factory $$$
Freshly made, perfectly cooked pasta and spaghetti sauces.

The Oceanaire  - Seafood Room $$$$
High-end seafood, fine dining, reservations available.
